I could hear them gobbling back at my calls but they were content hanging up in the bush. 2 hours went by and they started going silent. I got up and moved to the area I thought they could be. I moved silently enough and there they were. I pulled the trigger at 60 yards on this Jake with 3 1/2 inch heavy load turkey shot. A 2 1/2

avec Shotgun au GBHZ 4, le 17 novembre 2016Another beautiful day in southern Manitoba. Spend the day looking for good Grouse spots and came across this one filling it's gull with pebbles of grit. I added a few pebbles of my own. Very small patch of red around the eye. Beautiful birds.

avec Bow dans la salle GHA 23A, le 9 septembre 2016This bear had no fear. As I baited the barrel 1 hour before the hunt. the bear was wanting to come out to feed while I was baiting. It was a freaky situation. When I arrived to hunt the bear it was no where to be seen. A hour later it came out from behind me. I drew my bow and made a terrible first shot at 40 yards. After tracking him on the ground in the bush before dark I found him against a tree and I put another arrow through his chest at 8 yards.
