Took my dad, my friend, and his old man for a morning bird hunt. Was their first time experiencing using layouts and decoys. Very foggy, and off and on drizzling. Made for nice low flying flocks of geese. Limited out on mallards and pintails by 8 am, but birds flew into the spread until late morning! Gave good opportunities to teach some calling basics and watch how the birds work. Geese started flying a bit later and came in perfect flying groups of 3-6 birds at a time! Great experience!

Duck heavy field. Morning hunt, single man limit within 14 minutes past legal shooting time. Great morning to sit and call ducks to the spread and watch them work!
